About Me
I was raised in Texas and remain deeply rooted in the landscapes of North Texas, where I now tend a small acreage just beyond the Dallas area. What was once an open, empty field is slowly unfolding into a living sanctuary—a space where gardens grow, trees take root, wildlife returns, and quiet moments of reflection are woven into the land.
Over the years, I have planted more than 50 trees across the property, each one chosen with care to restore shade, nurture biodiversity, and support a more balanced, resilient ecosystem. With every season, the land becomes richer, not just in growth, but in presence.
Today, the space is home to thriving gardens, free-ranging chickens, and a growing butterfly garden designed to attract pollinators and native wildlife. It is a place where life gathers, where nature is invited back in, and where the rhythms of the earth can be felt more deeply.
When we care for the land, the land cares for us.
My days are shaped by a quiet observation of the natural world and a commitment to sustainable gardening, native planting, and nature-based living. I am continually learning how small, intentional actions—planting a flower, creating shelter, restoring habitat—can gently rebuild harmony between people and the environment.
Five Fold Earth was created as a reflection of this journey.
Here, I share insights on the the Five Elements, seasonal living, meditation, gardening, and nature spirituality, all rooted in the belief that we are not separate from nature, but part of it. This space is meant to inspire a deeper connection to the natural world, no matter where you are.
Whether you’re tending a large rural property, nurturing a backyard garden, or growing something small on an apartment patio, every space has the potential to support life, restore balance, and become part of a thriving, living ecosystem.
A Life Close to Nature
Living on rural acreage in North Texas is a daily reminder that nature is always in motion. The seasons shift quickly across the plains, storms roll in without warning, and wildlife moves through the land in quiet, steady patterns.
My days are often spent tending gardens, caring for chickens, putting in new plants, and observing the subtle rhythms of pollinators and native wildlife. What was once open land is slowly being shaped into a habitat that supports birds, butterflies, and native plants—one small, intentional step at a time.
One of the most meaningful projects has been creating a butterfly garden designed to offer nectar, shelter, and host plants for pollinators. Each season, as butterflies return, I’m reminded that even the smallest efforts to support nature can create lasting, visible change.
Inspiration
The ideas I share on Five Fold Earth are rooted in a lifelong connection to nature. Long before this space existed, the outdoors was where life felt most clear, steady, and grounded.
From childhood walks beneath wide Texas skies to the quiet rhythm of tending gardens and observing wildlife today, nature has never felt like background scenery—it has always been a quiet, steady companion. That sense of connection continues to shape how I approach mindfulness, seasonal living, and personal reflection.
These influences shape the tone of Five Fold Earth—thoughtful, grounded, and rooted in the belief that nature offers both wisdom and healing when we slow down long enough to truly listen.
The Purpose of Five Fold Earth
I created Five Fold Earth as a space to explore the relationship between people and the natural world through topics such as:
My hope is that what I share here encourages you to step outside, plant something new, listen to the wind moving through the trees, and rediscover the quiet joy of being connected to the earth.
